Essen will also have an "environmental zone" as from October 1, 2008. Although the site of Messe Essen GmbH will not be affected directly, the access routes as well as some of the car parks will probably be. Only those motor vehicles which have corresponding identification with an environmental sticker or fulfil the exception facts will be allowed to drive into this zone. Messe Essen GmbH and TÜV Nord have decided to cooperate in order to allow you to drive into the environmental zone without any problems.
